The winners in the “My climate” project competition conduct workshops in Plovdiv

The winners in the “My climate” project competition – a team from “Druzhba” High School in Plovdiv – have already started the implementation of their project “Substitute the deodorant, save the Planet”. During February, March and April they will be organizing educational workshops in 11 schools in Plovdiv. The workshops aim to educate students about the negative effects of using traditional deodorants and to teach them how to make deodorants from eco-friendly products.

The interesting initiative of the team won the first award in the project competition “My climate” 2015, which was launched in the framework of the National Trust Ecofund’s project on climate change public awareness. The project was supported by the German Federal Ministry of Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB).
